In 1985, Dr. Carlos Boné Salat founded the Center for Venous Treatment.
Dr. Bone is a pioneer in phlebology investigation and developed the
term Fleboestetica which describes pathology of the veins and esthetic
associated.
Phlebology is the medical field that focuses on venous pathologies and
problems resulting from those pathologies, such as skin alterations
that affect its appearance, changes in color and/or texture, reflecting
the lack of circulatory health.
The Center for Venous Treatment has five consultation rooms
equipped with the latest technology to reach the right diagnosis and to
apply the adequate treatment for each case, always done and controlled
by Dr. Bone.
The process starts with the first consultation where symptoms expressed
by the patient are noted, followed by a complete diagnostic work-up
using the latest technology such as "color ecodoppler", different
optical techniques and clinical visual exam. After this process is
completed a diagnosis is formulated and a treatment plan is developed.
This plan takes into consideration the patient's past medical history
and lifestyle.
The atmosphere of the treatment center combined with the quality of the
personal care delivered imparts an immediate sense of well being and
trust in the patient . The professionalism of Dr. Bone Salat's team
embraces the various aspects that could potentially affect the
patient's treatment and recovery.
The Center is characterized by its commitment to utilize current
innovative technology and to improve what is necessary to increase the
comfort and well being of our patients. Patient information is securely
stored and readily accessible.
